I've just bought a 2010 1.6 Comfort Scudo and I would like to get a couple of bits for it, I pick it up next week:

What sort of mpg should I expect from this, on the test drive it didnt feel sluggish so I dont think it will be terrible

The main thing is I need a bulkhead, I'm looking 2nd hand if possible so I will try some breakers etc but I need to try and find out if for example a bulkhead from a 2007, 2008 or 2009 would fit the van or one from a citroen dispatch or peugeot expert - this would increase my chance of finding one.

The next thing is the remote central locking key is worn, the button doesnt release the key blade from the holder you have to pull it out manually, could I try and buy the remote fob and fit my blade in it?

Is there any way of storing a spare wheel under the van, not sure I like the idea of relying on tyre foam

Lastly does the radio support aux input, its a pretty ugly factory radio but if it supports aux input I'll keep it

Thanks guys

Bulk head, You got it, all of the above fit (y)
Fuel consump, around 34/36 mpg around town.
Key, im not sure about.
Aux input depends on which stereo is fitted , some do some dont.
And spare wheel, there should be a full size spare wheel in a carrier under the back of the van.

Hmm this doesnt have a spare wheel it has a compressor and some kind of tyre foam with it, it looks factory fitted, purpose built holder for the compressor etc. there is no cage under the van so I will look into buying a cage and a spare wheel, I'd prefer a spare wheel

Thanks

fantony81, I have a bulkhead, its not solid, its a security bulkhead to keep people in, so you have strong perspex and metal grate, you can see through it but it would be a barrier between the driving compartment and the goods carrying part. If you are interested get back to me, I am near manchester.

One word of advise, change the oil and filter on the button at around 8,000mls. This engine can be very troublesome if good servicing is not adhered to. If there is a patchy service history walk away from it.

That's not good to hear, the van has a service count down and I think its from 20k down so are you sure every 8k?

Hi I would not recommend just using the carriage under the back for your spare without a secure bolt going into van, I had a brand new one pinched while I was parked up & did not know until I went over a bump & heard a clatter the carrier had hit the floor on the way home, I thought the spare had worked loose & fell on the road but there was no sign of it then the penny dropped they had forced it off took the wheel & tyre & just hooked it back up so that as soon as i hit a bump it fell off,so i now have a steel cup in the wheel centre & a long bolt going to the inside with a nut & a split pin through the nut & bolt shaft,I place a metal dish over it on the inside , it was a pain to find a wheel from a scrapyard & then get a tyre again.
