and attracts every fanny in a corsa, nova, paxo etc to try and race you, like they'd have a chance. nice enough car in its own right, but i'd be bollocksed off by all the attention(attention is good, if its from the right kind of people)

my mate just picked up a wee supra gt4 nice wee car plenty powerful

I take your point about the GTO.

As for Supra's and Celica's, I dont know what it is about them, but they're either in nearly perfect nick (and about 10yrs old) or alternatively, they look like a piece of shite, covered in everything imagineable, straight out of a Max Power Bargain Basement and driven by a vile, spotty burberry wearing Chav type.

Unfortunately, this Chave type element has filtered through to the Punto Sporting brigade and ruined a very nice looking car.

Bugger.

Mind you, a real Chav (if slighly older than 19) drives a slick looking Vauxhall Cavalier. Usually a SRi or a GSi 2000, inevitably with 150k on the clock and billowing out blue smoke. the aforementioned Chav will have his "bezzy mate" in the front and three revolting Chavettes in the back, adorned with lots of fake jewelry - numerous gold chains with large clown pendant on then, huge Creole type earings and three rings on each finger. Their hair is of course, expertly bleached to a fetching yellow colour.

If the Chav has just passed his test, a 1 litre Nova is usually the order of the day. Again, billowing out blue smoke and adorned with "Turbo" and "16V" badges everywhere.

I effing hate the Chavs - please comment on the thread if you too hate the dirty, horrible bastards.

Oops, I've just fallen off my High Horse.

just like to agree with you there paul!

theres nothing wrong with BMW drivers at all, all the people i know who drive BMWs area very nice well to do people,
Do fiat even make an executive car? err do they F!"k

seems there area few jealous arse bandits on here PMSL

I mean come on! a guy says i saw a porshe and BMW driving fast and a few people straight away say "yeah blatant ******s" LMAO!!!! what do you lot never put your foot down on the motor way

Gay bar

Its not often i say this, but i have to agree with both BBR (shock horror! ;)) and Ribzz...

I won't even bother commenting on what BBR has said, as its pretty much true...lol

And as for what Ribzz has said, the car doesn't drive you, you drive the car...

I do understand what people are saying, but if you have a BMW up your arse on the motorway, its probably because you are sat there for no reason, if your not, its down to the driver not the car ;)

is that just sporting drivers? :)

You know what is funny.....
when you own a Bravo and look down on Saxos, Corsas, BMWs and so on..... I've been there lol When you move on, then you will realise! ;)

people always like the cars they have. inevitably some peoples tastes change, and some stay the same. (Eg, my friend who's first car was a Daewoo Matiz, haha! he never liked it!)

Not just Sporting drivers, but the Chav would prefer something akin to a Sporting, I suppose.

I have seen quite a few once nice looking Mk2 Puntos now ruined with those ludicrous Lexus type lights, HUGE alloys, Supid big-bore exhausts and Max Power stickers in the rear screens. Needless to say, driven by those Burberry Types.

I was tempted by a Punto HGT recently, but I thought the car was just too small.

Personal opinion, of course as I think the MK1 Punto Sporting was teh nicest looking machine for many a year!

oh well, looks like i'm turning into a chav...

abarth bodykit as been fitted, i'd like some of those stilo abarth alloys (5 spoke) and a supersprint exhaust.

i wont fit any aftermarket rear lights though.

As long as you don'y wear Burberry attire or sport Jailhouse White Kike trainers, you should be safe!

what bravo u got cos mines seriously fast....hgt shell with a coupe 2.0 20v turbo uprated blitz turbo, remapped ecu, and a supercharged induction kit...so bring on the boxter cos mines around 290 bhp

And a hefty fuel bill :)

My bravo does 50mpg on a run. I'd be supried is yours get's more than a third of that ;)

My forrester has left a porsche 911 (new) for dust, the face on the driver was pure class!!

2.0 twin turbo import, 0-60 in approx 4.2.

I love it!

Awesome car. Everyone gets out of your way when you drive a GT.

Talking of Burberry - you seen the prices they charge these days for a simple pair of jeans - £150!
