Just a warning people!!!

i washed my car today, and because it was ssooooo cold...the water on my brakes froze...i didnt realise untill i went to brake and noticed noting at allllll...


so i just thought id warn everyone that washing your car now is very dangerous

maybe i will not wash my car tomorrow (maybe off the massive list of to do's), probably not though, i hate a dirty car and i know i am not alone

I came out after work to get in the Karl windows all iced up turned on the heater (Max Defrost setting) scrapped the window screen all clear set of thought ill wash/clean the window jetted water on the window and it instantly froze... a window of ice whilst driving very dangerous not a good idea folks..

I get mine done by hand at a local place for £5. Drive in and a guy gives your car a blast with a dirt loosener, followed by a high pressure hose down. Then it's soap & water with a big wooly mitten and then another high pressure blast. The wheels get a spray with dust loosener and a blast too, plus the tyres get a shine. Then the water is brushed off the car with a squeegee and then chamied down. Finally, the glass and mirrors get a going over on the outside (and the inside on the front doors) and then all the door sills and jams get wiped over.

Pay the guy £5 and drive away with no chance for any water to freeze and a bloody good looking car.

An extra few quid gets the interior done too !

Just a shame that in this weather, you car is dirty again after 5 minutes

I think im gonna take mine to tescos on sunday and let them clean it there,its too cold to do it at the min.It looked so dirty in the car park today i was ashamed to walk upto it!

well I had my works christmas dooo last night.. had to go through the car wash on the way cos if the company car is dirty it's seriously frowned upon!!

My brakes don't get chance to get too cold
