as the title says i have started to get a misfire at around 2500 -3000 revs occasional cutting out altogether when the engine is cold ,does this point an injector problem or fuel delivery to the injectors ?

Thanks Martyh

thanks for replying
The misfire only happens at 3000 revs after it has warmed up and no cutting out ,but until it warms up it's like a bag of spanners I think the cutting out is possibly due to a drop in fuel pressure ,i can avoid the cutting out as long as i keep the revs up above 1500

I am sorry but i can only add to the list of possible faults, the Fiat/Alfa's had crankshaft pulley can be problematic.when my Alfa started sounding like a bag of nails at tick over
when cold, and hesitant at around 3000rpm,it turned out to be the crankshaft pulley.

as it turns out i disconnected the maf sensor and it runs much better so it looks like i need a new one

Just bear in mind from past experience that I had a injector on a 110 that caused problems like this . Might not be the same but worth a check
