The JTD came out in 1999 on an S plate at the earliest according to parkers. How can you distinguish between a JTD 100/105 and a TD 100? Did they come with a JTD badge on the back?
That helps a bit. Looking on autotrader two R Reg brava's are being advertised as JTD models but according to Parkers they weren't out then so need to be wary or Arthur Daley. If i was serious on a particular one i could check via the V5 anyway but dont want to trek up and down the country to look at what seems to be a good JTD only to find out its a TD!
Speaking to salesmen on the phone is pointless as they'll say anything to get you down and persuade you to buy! A bit like Halfords Staff actually.
The JTD was mid '99 onwards on a T (very rare) most started being sold on a V. There is no way an 'R' '98 is a JTD as the JTD was still in the testing stages then!
