There was me driving to work and then....
...
Stone flipped up and put a rather nasty looking crack in my windscreen.
£50 later RAC Windscreens fitted a new windscreen in under 5 hours of the incident. Was quite impressed at the speed of the service. Screen was in stock and I don't think they had too much on so they managed to squeeze the job in.
On the plus side, they are just round the corner from where I work in Canterbury so it was convenient!
It seems that everytime I buy a car I need to get a new windscreen!
I think in the 10 years I've been driving, I've got through 11 windscreens on my various different cars. Its such a common occurance I see it as like a yearly service requirement!
