I just joined this forum in an effort to help my friend in Geneva, Switzerland. He is a car collector and restorer. He recently purchased a 1960 Fiat Ghia Jolly from a gentleman in Arizona and shipped it to Geneva for restoration. Fortunately I have some current history of the car, but unfortunately I can't find an item that connects me to the older history.
The serial # is FIAT 100 702196. It was last titled in Maricopa, AZ in 2022. The previous owner, who lived in Hammond, IN, died in 1970 and the Jolly sat in his garage for over 30 years. The owners son, who was very young when his father died, doesn't remember much about the car, so not much help there.
If anyone has any information about this car, or knows a source for finding who the original owner was and any other history of this unique vehicle, it would be very much appreciated.
Best regards,
Dua
P.S. I do have a picture of the Jolly.
