Styling JDM Tow Hooks?

now, i know these are meant for jap cars, but i kinda quite like them ans the main reason i ask is the thread for my tow eye hook is knackered, and saw this on ebay and wondered if it was possible and if anyne has one on a sei? cheers

they look crap on jap cars, even worse on italian

There isn't really a point strong enough to mount them to be honest.

Directly to the chassis rail on the back is about the only strong point but then you will need to cut holes in your bumper .

I think they look fine on jap cars, and they have a practical use on jap cars .

I dont think they are legal anyway.

You cant have solid objects protruding from the front or rear of the car. (hence why all modern(ish) cars have screw in two eyes. even the cinq has "inset" tow eyes.

That type of towing eye needs to sit inside the bodywork when not in use.
Then either pivot out or slide out against a spring so their natural resting position is not protruding.

That won't be how "Da Kids in dem Novas" will mount them though!
