Thats because they will not pass an MOT, new regs coming in this year make it a definate fail to tint lights where as before it was more up to the discression of the tester

Is that lights in general, tail lights as well? Or just headlights?

Ah I see it says things that reduce light output, but I thought flyeyes and things didn't stop the light transmission? Hence why it was used?

thats correct. but flyeye also comes under 'unnecessary items on the headlights'

New lights!!!

Just got some of those bulbs today from the link you put up!
I'm going to refer to them as 'rainbow bulbs' as whenever you pick an angle you get a different colour from the spectrum

I think I'm going to take these off at the weekend or even soon before the boys in blue pull me up, they may be e-marked but they don't seem road friendly at all.

yours look really good so maybe the seller changed the type
unfortunate because changing headlight bulbs on an m-jet is a pain in the a***
