Itunes and usb stick

Hello all

please can you help ! my new 500 is being delivered on Tuesday so I need to transfer my music to usb stick.

The problem is most of my music has been purchased from the itunes store and is of course stored in itunes. I know that the songs are stored in mp4a format and are protected by DRM i think.

So my question is how can I remove the protection and convert the files to MP3 and move these files to my usb stick ?

I do have an iphone and know I can buy a little gizzmo so i could use this but I'd rather use a usb stick and just leave it in the car.

Thanks for that- guess I just have to decode all the albums I bought before the encryption was lifted.

and now buy from Amazon rather than itunes as they are mp3 - and cheaper (but still go into your itunes library)
