So let's have a big round of happy clapping for john (Freebo) our new co-mod.

I will be stepping down in the future due to other commitments ( visiting the rest of our planet...or travelling to you and me) and I won't be able to keep an eye on you horrible lot.

However, I will still be around until that time which will be around July. Then I will slip off the radar slowly but surely....

It's been huge fun up till now and I'm going to miss you guys and gals...well some off you anyway.

I would like to thank you all for the fun times, friendship, technical knowledge, intelligent banter and support you have shown... You are the people that make this forum, and particularly this section, a great place to be.

As I push my panda into long term storage I'm sure a little tear will weep from her washer jets and mine too at the memories we both have.. We will be back at some point and I'm sure we will log on in a far flung country just to check out whats going on.. Oh, and to say hi..

So, john it's over to you... Good luck, not that you need it.

The plan is to fly to Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam in October. Fly back next April. Take our Toyota around Europe till October, then head for Africa in the car. Drive down the west coast to the south..then up the east coast...then ship the car to India to travel around there and Nepal, Sri Lanka.

Well that's the very lose plan,but to be honest there is no plan as we have plenty of time...

Thanks for the kind words & advice. Also thanks for the light hand as mod - I'm sure John & John will carry on in the fine tradition of Classic Panda mayhem - we usually sort ourselves out & it's nice to be seen as the rogue FF section, as well as being the best section!

So yes I have finally popped my Panda virginity after several years of wanting one. I'm sure you'll all see it over the coming meets not to mention a members motors thread oh and Panda Camp
