OK, I give in, it's now got to the point where something has to be done - but what?
My 2000 Bravo JTD 105 has always seemed a bit slow of the mark since I bought it 3 years ago, it had 39000 miles on the clock (genuine)and would do 0 - 60 in about 14 secs.
Having read of other members using GPS and stopwatches to check their times, I have decided that the use of a sundial or candle might be more appropriate, as the 0 - 60 is now around 40 secs!!
The car now has 80,000 miles on the clock, the tyres are new and at the correct pressure, I have used injector cleaner 4 or 5 times in the last 3 years, and the air filter is OK. I usually record 55 - 58 mpg, no problems with the emissions during the MOT a few weeks ago, so where do I start?
Any suggestions that avoid spending more than the car is worth at the garage would be most welcome.
Andy.
