do you just strip the ends of the wires then join em up if so wats the best way to join them?

If its an ISO connector for a Bravo, you should only have to plug one end into the Bravo wiring and the other into the ISO.

If its a normal one, just join the wires using through crimps...

I bought a Blaupukt head unit. I was told you could plug in the Bravo ISO straight in the head unit with out any wire changing. Then i find out that the head unit wasn't keeping its memory.

Then only way i could resolve this was changing the wires on the Bravo ISO. Finding out which of the wire is the ignition, and permanent live. Swapping them around was a real was a pain in the butt.

You could try it yourself, i paid £25 for a shop to sort out all the wires for me in the end.

Money well spent.

just swap red and yellow round

DONT WORK FOR THE CO-OP THEY DONT PAY PERIOD!

my head unit has a cable from the headunit to a standard ISO connector, half way down this wire on the red and yellow wires are a set of connectors, i just had to swap them over, do you not have something like this?

no it doesnt have that the original iso doesnt fit the back of the new head unit you have to use the one that comes with it so ill have a crack at joining all the wires myself it is sunday so i have nuthin to do!
thanks for the help
