I am currently in the process of saving for a MK2B Sporting (Punto) - so I will drop my old car of the policy and replace with this, My question is though can I change the type of cover? and any tips on how to save some dosh?
Crap! - I'll get on the blower and just hope to god I get a fair deal, if not I'm going to get a fake Identity to say I'm 50 with full NCB. or Rob a bank or win the lottery, or prehaps just save a bit more...
To make matters worse Im 21 In november, (apparently when 21 it goes down a notch?) Policy renewal (sp?) is Oct. My dad says if i don't renew (for a month will not drive but get the train) I lose my ncb? If thats the case I'm doing everything in my power to bitch at the company to give me the best deal. I work in a call centre, so I know the words: GIVE ME THE MANAGER! lmao.

most companies will change cars mid policy as long as its a car they cover
eg some companies wont touch modifications
how much they charge for this is another matter!
I don't understand this, how can you just change the car that the policy is created for half way through. Its the vehicle that's being covered, so it defines 90% of the variables that are considered when calculating the price. If you change the vehicle then everything changes.
Okay, so to the original poster - ignore my replies.![]()
I think that until your 21, any car you drive is limited to a certain speed, a certain capacity, and horsepower. Because it costs just too much to pay for insurance!!!!!!
