I own a 1998 Fiat Ducato Motorhome not had it that long, but recently noticed that the centre console was very dark whilst driving at night, so I took it apart and changed the 2 tiny bubs along with the bulb for the cigarette lighter socket. All working fine now.
But now I've noticed that on turning the ignition on, they come on and light up even if the lights are NOT on. Surely this isn't normal, every other car or van I've drove the heater control lights etc only come on once you have switched your lights on even if it is dim or full beam.
What could this be causing it to act weird like this, faulty wiring? blown fuse? or something else? Any ideas or feedback would be greatly appreciated.
