Technical What does this connector connect?

Hello everyone, this is my first post.

My name is Paul, I live in the Netherlands.
I have a ducato x250 (160) 2010. Iveco engine 3ltr.

I'm wondering can anyone tell me the function of the connector in the picture. This is the entrance of the door on the driver side.

I hope I've put enough info in the post. If not I can try and provide more.

Is it a standard van or camper,
You need to check the wire colours & see which way they are heading. This will give you an idea where to look in the wiring schematics.
Note: if you are thinking of connecting into these wires my suggestion would be not to as you may end up with problems with your van.

The base of this van is commercial, so normalI and I have converted it to a campervan.

And don't worry. I will never use a original connector to put other appliances in the van. I don't want my dash lighting up like Christmas tree!

there's a loose wire in the connection, it was very corroded.

I have the same year here & I had a look & that connector is not in mine.
What are the wire colours & I will look up info I have
