General is this normal

usually when i start my engin, my temp gauge jumps to mid way, only l8ly it has barely moved from C, lol nothing to worry about. everything seems fine, power wise, engin sounds fine etc...

Normal that the temp gauge doesn't register??? Or normal that it would jump on start and then behave itself?

If the temp gauge is jumping when you start the car i wouldnt worry! However, if the temp gauge is still registering zero after 5 mins of driving or so, then youll most probably have a fault somewhere!

drove to grantham yesterday (bout half n hour drive) temp gauge goes up to half way (like normal) after bout 5 mins, so alls good, just seemed odd because it used to go to the middle of the gauge straight away as soon as i switched on my engin, now its cool then rises' as I go, as said before no change in performance, still the old 0 - 60 in 14 seconds
