The reason i ask is because i have just swapped my splx subs for rockford fosgate he 12" subs (will post some pics l8r) n wow thy are SO much better, soon to swap my shark amp for an rf (when it arrives)! but i am also thinking of swapping my jbl gto505ce components for rf comps n my rear jvc voaxials for either rf comps or coaxials! this a good idea? how do you lot rate rokford fosgate?.

rockford fosgate is a top name in car audio

ive never had any off there gear, but ive heard them in other people cars and there amazing a real clear, crisp sound

to answer the question, bout front and back comps, please dont run them off the headunit, get another amp, rockford fogate if poss, just to keep it in line with the rest.

but your install is only as good as your wiring, theres no point having bell wire running to them.

The 12" RF subs are very good. My brother's 12" gives the same feeling and better sound quality than my 10" Kenwood's and I've got TWO of them (should equal 15"). The RF amps are fairly high priced I think. But be aware of one thing on the RF amps, the low pass filter isn't adjustable the way you (I) want. It's got 5 ticks, nothing between. That's why I've got a Phoenix Gold amp - independently adjustable low pass filter amongst others and insanely crisp and clear sound. I think PG produces better sound quality than RF, but the subs RF makes must be of the best you can get at a reasonable price.

Lets put it this way, about 5 yrs ago a friend of mine used to compete in National sound offs, originally with 4, & then with 8 x 15" RF subs in an xr2. Everybody else was using Orion, Vega Strokers etc at about £300 - £800 for each 15" sub, he was paying £150 for each of his Rocky
RF 15's. Im not saying he won every competition, but he certainly spanked a lot of the more expensive systems on a regular basis. Until recently I had a 15" rf in a sealed box but it wouldnt fit in the Cinq without having the back seats down.... have you every seen a £1 coin jump 1" off your roof?
Absolute B*stard subs if you power them right!!!!;)

Cinquecento............Its not the size its how you use it!
