which model yr punto mk1 will have this loom as will go look if some1 can help me buy tellin me what i need to look for x as aint got a clue please help if ya can x x

I did this mod on my 75 ELX ages ago. It all started when I took the drivers door card off and spotted the spare connectors on the loom that needed to go to to switch and to the mirror motors. I then checked the wire colours were correct to the Haynes manual. I replaced the two button electric window switch panel to one from a GT and connected up that extra wire to the mirror pad switch. Replaced the tatty old manual wing mirrors with new painted electric ones and connected up. No extra wiring was required as all the fuses/relays present in my case. It even defrosts the mirrors when the rear defrost button is pressed!
Your car may be different, firstly see if theres a couple of spare leads that are not attached in the drivers door before continuing to source parts!
