General Is it just me?

Is it just me or are the majority of the problems with the Multiplas are with the JTD version?

Does that mean that the 1.6/1.8 Petrol engines are generally reliable? Or do they have there own problems, they just aren't mentioned?

The reason is the petrol versions sold little in comparision to the diesels so less is heard of them, yes the diesels can have EGR/airflow meter problems but the petrol suffer misfires and manifold/exhaust issues.

"Common" problem for the 1.6 petrol are the injectors, quite a few have failed. Told by the dealer.

Replace the timing belt on schedule.

I've had to replace the O2 sensor on the manifold, but in general they are quite reliable.
