Does anyone know if it's possible to get an ipod connection to an old spindle mount radio/cassette...circa 1980's.

I'm thinking it would be possible to hook onto the cassette pick up heads with a 3.5 jack cable.

Any thoughts?

aye the tape up there does the job. ive got one here they sound ok but dont expect it to be amazing.. there is definatly some quality loss....

have you thought of a FM transmitter? no wires and arguably better quality.

ah yes forgot about them, we had one and it was utter ****, was quite dear too iirc

Thanks for the feedback...I was kinda looking for a hardwired solution. The FM transmitter looks like the neater way to go, and I think some may have a built in attenuator for better performance. More research required, I'll check out with a audio workshop.
