Technical iPhone Bluetooth Pairing 2008 Fiat Panda

Has anybody managed to pair an iPhone with a 2008 Fiat Panda? Or does my wife have to buy an old 'phone that is compatible?

I’ve not managed to connect my iPhone 5 to it. And that’s a really old phone. Guess it’s time to buy a phone from the Stone Age

It's because it's an iPhone end of.... they are crap at connecting to anything
I'm android now and love that system
