Internet Explorer 7 Help?

Help! I have just upgraded to Internet Explorer 7 on my laptop and now i can't get on the internet? I also can't get opera to work? This is so strange as I have a internet connection and I can use MSN messenger , can anyone help me pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeee?, Otherwise I will have to take over Dave's computer for good :devil:, :chin: this might be a good reason to get him off here and do some housework

That might be the problem hmm have you tryed in IE7 go into the tools/internet options and select the "reset web settings"

I have just uninstalled Norton then restarted laptop and YIPPEEEEEEEEEE
I have internet thanks for your help but now need some sort of interenet security? any suggestions?

you can hack it to get the full paid for version for free

and Avast for the antivirus, tis very good, ive never had any problems with it.

run that combo on both my PCs
