Im experiencing an intermittent power loss on my 83,000 mile Ducato van, usually under excelleration,or under load but not all the time, it happens on every journey but is not consistent, my van starts fine and ticks over fine, but when cold it lacks response,,if I let it tick over for five minutes before driving it responds better but It will randomly hold back when excellerating or under load, but then kick back in and pull like a train, there is no black smoke but when its holding back seems to be accompanied by a light tapping sound like a valve tapping, the engine is stong apart from when this happens, any advice would be much appreciated
