General Intermitten lack of power

Hi, Any ideas on this, sometimes experience lack of power and doesn't want to accelerate, all of a sudden takes off again, usually shows when I have stopped and try to take off again, no message on screen etc, 2003 Eleganza 2.0Hdi with 105K. Thanks:worship:

sounds like a weird clutch problem

Failing that you may want to try changing the air filter (though it could be a split pipe, but I doubt it's turbo'd)

Not clutch, def engine management issue as far as I can see. New air filter etc fitted only 3K ago

Hi mate

Sounds like EGR to me. Classic symptoms. About the right mileage too. Try blanking it off and taking it for a test drive. If the powers back, then you need a new EGR. (you dont happen to notice a puff of black smoke fro the exhuast when the power suddenly comes back do you?)

Oh and assuming you have the 2.0 JTD not Hdi

Car is presently in Greece, will check it in Feb, as its the Peugeot/Citroen engine I called it the Hdi, Thanks for that, any other tests?
