Technical Interior lights

I bought some led lights to replace the interior rear lights in my ducato and crimped them on to the existing light wires. They are on but don't seem to be going off. There are three wires on the existing but only two on the new led lights. Any ideas where I may be going wrong??

Incorrect resistance. Try a different brand, buy one that suitable for can bus systems.

Hi, may sound daft but does your light have an on/off switch.
What are the colour codes on the wires, having 3 wires could be 2 of them are for the live loop to other lights kinda like xmas tree lights. If you bought a light unit it should have an on/off switch but if you bought a strip of leds you have to incorperate a switch.

Mine is a rocker switch,
Off/on/door
The three wires wil be live, earth and switched earth at a guess. Switched earth will come from body computer. It will be this earth that picked up the incorrect resistance/too high ampage bulb/led causing the light not too turn off.
