What size are the bulb's supposed to be? I believed them to be 42mm by having got an LEDs replacement it looks to be a few mm too small

The bulb I took out of mine is 32mm end-to-end.
Well that's off mine are far bigger

Apologies; that might have been a number-plate bulb
. Pulled the light out and checked and the bulb that is actually in there is 42mm.

Will have to check again but the 42 mm bulb's I tried were definitely smaller then the ones I had installed
Hmm found the problem measured the new bulbs with some calipers they appear to be 40.5mm so gonna contact the seller about them
