Technical Interior cabin light not functioning

The cabin light of my Marea weekender (2002 model) is not functioning. I know that when when you open or start the car the cabin, the cabin light should come on for a pre-programmed period of time. The light itself is fine as I can manually switch it on using the roof switch.
The car was serviced recently and I believe that this has something to do with the problem.

Have you tried all the doors? Is it both front and rear lights that don't work?
Give the garage that carried out the service a call.
I can't find a wiring diagram for the courtesy lights at the moment.
