Intake Differences

Can anyone confirm for me that the only difference between the air intake system on the HLX and the HGT is that the HLX has an OD of 82mm and the HGT of 70mm?

I dont have a HGT at had to measure it unfortunatly.

But if this is true then surely the pipercross viper induction kit for the HGT would fit, but just with a larger hose??

If someone could post a pic of a HGT with a viper fitted it would be of great help, can't seem to find one in any previous posts.

Nope, cos the neck of the viper would be too small for the hose.

Get an 82mm (or nearest) universal viper and a suitable bit of pipe.

Ahhh ok, but would the length of hose etc be the same?
