had my insurance renewal through today and its considerable more than what ive been paying even though ive added another year of no claims and had convictions or offences why is this?

can anyone recommend anyone else apart from adrian flux and chris knott because they the only two i can think of to ring

Its not always the cheaper alternative even though they off boo discount. Have you tried www.confused.com, www.gocompare.com, elephant, directline, LV, admiral, etc etc etc.

i havent tried adian flux or chris knott yet but with confused.com i got a quote from elephant which was 400 quid cheaper than my renewal and its a better deal too.

tried gocompare and they cheapest quote was the same company im with now

Elephant for car insurance.... one of my mates told me about it and i was a bit dubious as i'd already used confused.com before... but it came out a hell of alot cheaper £1,400 down to £850 on a 1.8 hlx for a 18year old which i thought was very cheap... not saying it will be this much different for yours but it's worth a try
