Insurance problems?

Will my insurance still be valid if I install new headlights and bumpers (mk1 sporting bumpers instead of grey plastic **** ones!) without telling them? What about alloys aswell?

If it isn't part of the original spec then they may well invalidate your insurance in the event of a claim. Be aware that if you are hit and not the cause, the other insurance company may attempt to wriggle out of it claiming your insurance is invalid.

Some policies may say no charge for cosmetic mods etc but still get the insurance company to acknowledge the mods as part of your insurance in writing!
