I've heard a lot of recommendations for Tesco insurance and CIS. Only thing to watch for is the stupidly high young driver excess that most of these thieving tossbags - sorry, I mean insurance companies - slap on anyone under 25. :(

If its fully comp then id say yes, that was a good quote....but im 19, and live in a low crime area, with a pass plus certificate, and pay £580 tpft and im with provident.
Try this, www.4youngdrivers.com they are pretty good too.

I have always found that by ringing them up, they can generally offer you cheaper quotes.

Yeh yeh, i drive only the same as any man would......personally i think its all rubbish, women are **** drivers. Only this week ive had two in two days driving up my ass in a 30 zone.
*cue chilling at 20mph*
They get pretty ragged off with that ;)

Ever thought of doing a Pass Plus Course, some insurance companies will know 1/3 off your insurance. :slayer:

I went with Zurich 1/3 off:) plus extra 10% for getting quote online.(y)

Dude, I'd really love to find out what level crime area I'm in, because this time last year I was quoted £1800 (Third Party Fire & Theft) for the Seicento Sporting, with pass plus!

It's an absolute joke compared to some quotes on here, and I shopped around for months before my test, but that was still the cheapest!

Least I'll have a years experience come my renewal!

(y) CHEERS (y) to everyone for helping me out, i have had a few more quotes and the best one i have had is the one at £800 think i might stick with that.

one more thing: why can insurance companys get you a cheaper quote if you phone them rather than buy on-line?

I'm with Liverpool Victoria. Not sure on their position r.e mods though. I got a quote online and then phoned them up and it was about £50 cheaper than what the online system said. Maybe becasue they get more info over the phone?

lol blaggin your a model, doesnt work, i have to lie and say im not a model so i get insurance...but trying to insure a 1.8 hlx bravo for your 1st car is a bit of a bastard..opps sorry for the slip up.....
