What about the fact that Uno 45 speedos don't go up to 160 and are calibrated completely differently?!

yea dunc great idea m8 ill put UT dials in so i will be doing around 30mph but the needle will be pointing to around 80mph that would work. i get pulled over for doin 2mph in a 30 zone n the officer would say "hey son do u know wot speed u were doing" to which i wud reply "sorry officer i was doing 75mph in a 30zone" which would completly baffle him. great idea lad :p

gotta love the uno's

Can't you just take out your current dials, scan them and send them to him?

People who think they know everything are a great annoyance to those of us who do.

alright zane, sorry not got pic yet, deffo take one tonite after work and send it to u matey. unless u managed to sort the dials out from the links i posted?

Actually the Turbo instruments should work fine, I'm 90% certain the calibration of the speedo (what it reads for the cable twisting at a given speed) is the same. You should see it on a little label on the back of the speedometer housing. Mine says "1 giro = 0.01 kilometri" or something like that. So you will have "1 giro = 0.00621 milo" or some such!

The fact that the needle will only get about a third of the way around the scale, well, that's another thing :)

And you have to find something to do with the boost gauge. It works with a little pipe, not sure what you can hook this to :) Hey I know, make up an adaptor to connect it to the radiator expansion tank cap! That apparently builds up to about 14psi = 1 bar on the gauge. Red = Radiator hot. Not sure how you keep the hot water out of the gauge though... :-D

I'm on the lookout for an Oil Temperature sender (should be pretty standard between various other FIAT/Lancia applications) and of course an oil pressure sender (electrically same as X1/9?) This is so we can get all those gauges working in an Uno 45 I'm building with a friend.

Cheers,
-Alex
