Hey guys!

I just bought a K&N replacement filter for my Seicento 900SPi. Now my question is: they say in the installation instructions that you have to grease the sealings/edges of the filter with the supplied grease. But there is no grease supplied.

Can I just put the filter in the box? Or is it maybe smart to visit a dealer? I dont know if the official paper filters are also greased before they're installed during a service interval?

And by the way, is installing just fine or do I have to take care with some things? Or adjust something to let the filter work better?

I know there are millions of threads about airfilters, but I couldn't find answers to my questions...

Thanks for helping :D!

Allright guys, thanks for helping! Then I just put it in... I also asked K&N to send me a bit of grease :p then I'll grease it later maybe... or not, heheh. Probably that single filth particle that crosses the filter now without the grease will not do that much harm I think, according to your replies...

So lets enjoy the increase in power, heheh.
K&N: "Our replacement air filters are designed to provide up to a 4% increase in horsepower and torque"

So that means.... 39HP*1.04=40.5HP

Together with the V-Power and my new Sebring exhaust it should make a difference...
