General inner track rod arm

hi, just a quick question hopefully someone can help. i need to replace inner track rod arm as thread is stripped from tryin to replace the track rod ends , has anybody changed one before ? do i need the proper removal tool or can you manage it with a wrench ? . thought id see how hard it is before i start dismantalling .

if you could get the tool it would be much handier to do,best thing i ever bought always using it due to crap arms [ steering ones ]
