I’ve had a smell of exhaust fumes in cabin
Vauxhall combo 1.3 it’s down to leaking injector number 4 I’ve taken injector out full of crap and black carbon cleaned it up the seat looks like someone has had a go at it the seat has a Nick which looks like carbon has got into it I’ve recut the seats but it’s still there I don’t want to go mad with the cutting I’m thinking it may be new head I’ll post pics tomorrow 😩

I have recut the seats on a few of those in the past and as long as new copper washers and torqued down correctly have had no issues.
Maybe see what the photo shows.:)

I can see the nick although as you say a little out of focus.
I would try a bit more with the injector seat reamer, the one I have did cut a better seat, so if it is sharp and only turned in correct direction it should cut effectively, I also used a little WD40 as a cutting agent.
By the way make sure the new copper seals are a good quality as cheap ones are hard copper and don't seal as well as softer ones.

Refitted injectors yesterday Fiat seals no smell of exhaust fumes this morning hopefully that’s it fixed
Thanks for your help much appreciated 😁

You may need to carefully recheck the hold down clamps for tightness on the injectors after a few miles once settled diown, as I have found it worth doing.:)
