Hi all
Just checking in with you guys to make sure I dont get ripped off.
I'm using a new mechanic after having a faulty injector diagnosed at Fiats.
How many hours labour is it & what is involved in changing a single injector, please
Cheers
Peter.

Wow!Take the car in to change one and they change them all!!!Cant complain there!
Sorry forgot to mention its the notorious 1.6 16v brava on a'96 plate..

Thankyou.
Peter.

Fiat will charge you about £250 all in to change 1 injector. Its about a 3hr job. You can get the injectors from a more direct route (they are made by Weber) for £50 each.

3hrs? bloody hell...lol

I think even i could do it in less time than that, don't they just unscrew?

Daz

Nope! You've gotta take the manifold off and apart to get them out.

Fair enough...:)

It just looks easier than that...

Hello everyone here is a subject
i need advice on, i have a bravo
1.4sx my injector is doing my
head in nearly everyday the light
comes on so the engine misfires
if i park and turn engine off and
leave for few minutes and restart
it stops. I have had for year now
so decided to call fiat for a
laugh they said £80 just for
injector thought they were less
asked how much fitting? He had no
clue , how hard is it to replace?
Can a normal person with little
or no experience do it or need a
garage? It's my next problem to
solve thank you in advance Scott.
