Technical injection/cambelt?

Can the injection light coming on indicate something wrong with the cambelt, cos i was driving up my drive and the injection light cam on and the rev counter was going up and down really fast. I dont know what it could be can anybody help?[!][!][!][!][!][!]

Cambelt wouldn't make it do that. Injection Light is for electrical items on vehicle which is faulty.
