Apart fro the usual pain of getting the old hose clips off, you will need to get some new hose clips (old ones are not re-usable) and thats about it.

Bleeding the system is not that easy, just remember to leave the heater ON and if the heater does not get hot when you start the car you have a problem. :)

Sorted!

Fitted last night (in the pouring rain!)

Took 45 mins or so in total - easy to access.

Just needed one hose clip to replace the one on the top of the stat - the other ones were the usual screw-up type.

Heater was cold when started so worried a bit - however I did this on a slanting driveway - when I drove on the flat I guess the air was removed and heat started.

Easy to do in the end - bloody Fiat however making you buy all the housing etc rather than just a thermostat. £35 is worth it though to have a warm car in the morning though!!!!
