Thats the exact same one I ordered a week ago! They sound great and are easy to fit. I had a bit of trouble with finding a good placement for the actual filter. In the end up I had to put the elbow joint on at an angle so the actual cone filter was sat in a good position. Its easy enough just harder finding the placement you want!

Just fitted it this afternoon, pretty straight forward. I used an accessory strap bent it round the pipe and used the existing bolt that held the air box in place to secure it. Considered the bolt on the battery box but that stays stationary when the engine moves so thought that would eventually snap off? Hasn't made a massive difference sound wise quite throaty in second gear.
Just funny to see peoples faces when you lift the lid and they say "what the hells that!?"

what about fuel consumption after fitment

why does everybody stick it near where the heat from the radiator comes up?

So might be able to breathe a wee bit better - but its now nearer a hotter air source

Will it sneak behind the battery box?

As there are several mounts down there that would do job just fine

Ziggy

doubtful hes got the end of line batt clamp so abs should be behind battery

btw man can't you try fitting it in the same place as the original intake filter was so the cone will be facing bottem left engine bay?

You can fettle it whichever way suits you, I found it easiest to fit where it is, it doesn't sit too high and trap under bonnet.

oh right man i was just thinking of the heat from engine going into the filter thats all.

I know what you mean but I think once your moving there will be loads of cold air rushing into the engine compartment from under the car, only time it will suck warm air is when idling at lights etc. tbh it's just brought the spotty faced teenager out in me lol and I like the look of it.
???
