Tuning Induction Kit

Firstly Hi,

This is my first thread on this forum and just looking for a touch of advice I recently purchased an induction kit for my Cinquecento 1.1i. went to fit it i've realised that it's for a Secento as the pipe does not attach to the throttle body the ad was very misleading it said that it would be fine for my car.

Was it a 'focus' kit by any chance? Early Sei's have the same tb as the Cinq so I had the same problem, but I got mine 2nd hand so made up some piping using an 899 bob and some off-the-shelf silicon hoses from Viper. If you bought brand new, send it back - there are 2 different types of focus kits for these cars so they may well stock the correct one, too.

Is the joint that attaches to the throttle body too small?

If it is: Cinq is SPI and as the Kit was for the Sei, it was probably an MPI and the Cinq TB is bigger.
Dont worry i made the same mistake but the other way round. Elbow joint for my focus kit was too big, just contacted the seller and they sent me the correct one.


This is the Focus Kit btw.
