General Induction Kit help

Hi, I have a punto mk2, 2000reg, 1.2 8v. I have fitted a K&N induction kit. At high revs i get a high pitched sucking sound coming from the throttle neck, i have taken the air filter off and it still happens. i think its coming from the small inlet within the throttle neck but dont know how to eliminate it. Any Ideas would be much appreciated.

best bet is stick the k&n on ebay, then get a better induction kit that places the filter away fron the hot air at the top of the engine

Was the noise not there before you fitted the k&n filter stick the standerd filter back on as the k&ns are poo as dave said and you might have damaged a air housing or not proply reconnected some thing up right better with the ford focus induction kit..
