Technical Indicator query

Hello, a few weeks ago I was driving (2019, 0.9L twin air) and when I indicated left I got a warning to check the bulb and the flash was twice as fast as usual.

I checked the bulbs all worked perfectly and continuing the journey the indicators worked as they should.

Yesterday a similar thing happened. Had a warning and fast flash but when checked everything was normal again!

Has anyone had this before? Other than checking for loose connections is there anything I can do? Thanks.

I'd change the bulb anyway and check that the relay is seated correctly.

Usually caused by corrosion in the contacts between the bulb and the holder… look for white powdery stuff around the base of the bulb.

This implies a change in the anticipated resistance in the circuit, i.e. a blown bulb as others have indicated here (oops was that an unintended pun?). You, or previous owner hasn't sneaked in some LED bulbs?
