indicator nightmare

can anyone help me, basically my indicators have all become a bit part time,
well to be honest less than that really.#
when i use the indicator arm on the steering column, it sometimes does sometimes doesn't, and it's the same with my 4 ways too.
anyone know any of the usual suspects i could try, i checked the fuses and i dont think it's that.
any other ideas, i reckon it's got to be a loose wire or connection cos sometimes when it's bumped it works sometimes
any help i'm a broke arse student and cant afford a car sparky.
oh and it's the only problem with my entire electrics, nothing else has a problem, cheers

I think its probably a fault in the stalks.
A few people have had this problem I think.
Use our crappy search function and see if you can dig anything up or wait for tom to attend your needs

indicators

my indicators went ont he fizz last year, sometimes they worked then sometimes they wouldnt - any every permutation in between.

Replaced the replay and it was fixed, not much from a fiat garage £10 ish cant remember. try that first.

hey mr marea, your warning light button is affected too.
i dont think it's the stalks thats all.

buggar, meant to ask where the relay is located, doesn't seem to clear in the haynes manual

it was located under the steering column, had to take the whole shroud off.

the indicators would slow down till they stopped, cant remember if the hazards were affected or not.
