I am sorry to hear about the way you have been treated and ripped off. I spent 14 years in the motor trade as a dealer principal running dealerships and bodyshops, and was always battling to restore the motor trade reputation that was damged by idiots like these. They are, unfortunately, not few and far between.

Make sure that who ever you go to tells you everything upfront, and don't pay for any work that has not been discussed with you, and agreed by you. Get them to put everything in writing as well, before any work is carried out. Also, a decent repair will get you to countersign an appraisal of your car, detailing existing damage, mileage, how much fuel there is in the tank, etc, etc, before they take delivery of the car from you. And you must get a copy of this appraisal, and any other bits of paper that has been discussed or signed.

wow thats very bad luck. i'd be really pist off, so much so that action needs to be taken. sometimes an out of court settlement is the best option, you know a high power air rifle on a dark winters evening after work, thats always a good settlement. aim for the head my son. may i suggest a theoben rapid7 rifle with the gain turned up to 34 foot pounds using copper core slugs with a flat head. someone's going to die a painful death! i'd love to help you but even a bit of the old ultraviolence isnt a good enough reason to travel that far.
