I have just recently bought a Punto 1.2 8v year 2001
I have experienced problems trying to get the reverse gear.
I am pleased to say that I resolved the problem today.
It would seem that the plastic splines inside of the gear
shift knob had partially disintegrated. Bits of this plastic
had dropped to the lower section of the knob preventing
the liftable collar raising to a sufficient height to clear
for full travel to the reverse gear.
If anyone else is having a simular problem, it may pay
to investigate this point first.

Hi,
I have sea fished from the coast, and from boat.
I have enjoyed coarse fishing from rivers, mainly the Withern.
But my biggest enjoyment is pond fishing.
I don't go as often as I used to, but always look forward
to the next session.
