I have never known a car to go through so many bulbs in my life.

Passenger side bulb has bloody blown again

Car seems to eat through bulbs, thats 4 headlight bulbs, 3 sidelights and 3 brakelights, a numberpate light, 2 dash lights, and an interior light its went through and the cars only 2 years old

Plus the wee light on the dash doesnt even come on to tell me my dipped lights have blown, but tells me my sidelights have gone. Piece of italian shite!!!

It'll be more skinned knuckes for me this afternoon then

Quicker i get rid of it the better. :(

wow. i have never seen anyone get rid of a car just because the bulbs blow. happens to any car. My sisters "reliable" german skoda went through 3 headlight bulbs (all the same) in less than a year.

Think your blowing this out of proportion TBH.

yeah probably. lol

Just i really cant be arsed with changing the passenger side bulb again, cos its a pain to do.

lol, the one that is behind the fusebox yeh? that ones a bitch on the mk2b isn't it.

look on the plus side. to do the sidelight bulbs on the mk2, you need to take the bumper off (officially a dealer job).

yeah the fusebox and bettery gets in the way, you cant tilt the headlight forward cos there is a bolt behind the bumper, and the side is tucked behind the wing, plus it knocks the beam alignment out.

Fiat charge 35 quid to change the bulb on a Stilo, cos the battery and fusebox has to come out on that as well, as my dad foud out.

Why can they not make it easy??????/

They dont make it easy so you HAVE to go back to the dealer, BMW are notorious for doing that, as are (as my brother found out) MINI.

When he tried to do some work on the brakes all he really needed were some allen keys, but MINI being owned by BMW, it wasnt as easy as that, he tried a 6mm, then an 8mm and sure enough neither fitted, he had to search high and low to find a 7mm allen key which he said was suprisingly difficult obtain.

Halfords do them as a socket, b and Q do them, agree they dont come with most sets, but neither do torx sockets etc, need a 7mm allan for Bravo brakes. Didnt have one at the time.. ooops.

But agree they make it difficult on purpose, thats to limit home users who wont buy, or dont know where to get the tools.
