In six months i'll have finished uni and am going to have to go to work every day for 8 long hours! Imagine that!!! Not only that but it's a 40 mile drive down a crappy 2 lane motorway to work so i'll probably endup driving a diesel there and back! Due to this chrisis i was thinking that perhaps i should try enjoy the last 6 months of student hood with something a little more exciting than the bravo. I was thinking maybe a punto GT. However, being the student that i am those little round coins always seem to be just out of reach. Thus anything i did buy would have to be covered by the sale of the bravo, sohow much do you think i could get for the bravo if i were to sell over the xmas period?

The car is shown here:

It's a '98 1.6sx with 14" abarth alloys, abarth spoiler, front fogs, 34k on the clock and service history.

Probably won't change but it's fun to find out!

Get an HGT.....Get 1 that has been tuned and dont do anything to it yourself. It isnt worth spending a fortune on it for 6 months.

Re: Re: I'm gettin old!

nonononono! Go and get a Diesel NOW! Buy a 105JTD Bravo, a Punto JTD or a Marea 105 or 110 JTD. Pop down to me and I will make ALL of them quicker than the standard 155 HGT :)

Punto HJT-D 130BHP, 0-60 in well under 8 seconds, top speed over 140 and group 6 insurance plus 50 mpg.

The Bravo/a and Marea benefit from a much bigger Turbo to start with and are stunning!

If you dont beleive me you are welcome to come out in our demo JTD - just bring spare shreddies.

I would be temped but the only thing that would put me off is reliability. It must have some effect on the engine / car surely?
