Im confused!!! sorry but it about a Punto!

Im sorry to mention the dreaded Punto to you but I have a problem and hopefully one of you brainy people can help me. I have just bought a Punto 60 SX(1999) and would like to put a cd player into the car. I have the basic fiat head unit at the mo and would like to put in a cd player that would still allow me to use the buttons on the wheel for controling the radio, volume etc. CAN ANYONE HELP ME? IM AT MY WITS END

Donna, why dont you go to Fiat and get them to break down a quote for installing a cd changer. Take the details away and see what you can get it for elsewhere (ask here again!) and then either do it yourself of get a friend to help. There is no rocket science to putting in a CD changer and cable providing it is compatable.

Thanks Nige. I had heard that only Sony Cd changers can go into fiats that will allow you to use the controls on the steering wheel, is this right??
