didnt know dole money stretched that far :chin:
technically i'm downgrading to a cheaper car to pocket the difference. alfa depreciation is a lifesaver, even dole bums can have a nice motor.

that'll only be due to age, the 156's when they are at a similar age will probably have more general problems i'd imagine. 155's aren't that unreliable tbh, 16v ones are just as reliable as 156's and suspension components are cheaper and sometimes more robust than the 156's more advanced set up.

also the 155 is a much more Raw car compared to the 156 which is more of a comfortable cruiser in comparison though it has more advanced suspension and a much better interior. but a 155 is much more aggressive in styling and has more racing titles and as seen on alfa track days a slightly tweaked model will beat even a GTA round some twistier tracks. (y) although in a recent thing by AOL it is the 5th worst car of the 90's!! here which seems a little unfair tbh. the btcc 155 is the car my brother had a poster of on my wall when i was little and i've always liked it.

the 156 has mass apeal due to it's relatively inoffence good looks as opposed to the wedge styling which is either detested or liked of the 155. both are good cars tbh.
you dont need to tell me. i love the 155, and the wedge body shape.

You never was a real man :p
look i've already explained that night, it was a one off honest. i had brewers droop. it can happen to anyone. give me another chance.

It does look like a very good buy and that red leather wank.gif! The only thing that lets it down in my opinion are those alloys, I just can't stand them. Go to have you back (y)

i love them :p i think they make the car look retro and its a hint of authentic wacky alfa. i'd like the 17" multispokes so i'll keep an eye out for a cheap set. patience leads to ebay bargains.

Awesome car, great condition :). 2.0 Too :). Best engine in my opinion very smooth and CAN be quite frugal when cruising on the motorway managed 37mpg out of mine once :D.
weird thing is that it is already noticably better than my 1.8 was
i'm getting approx 32mpg instead of 27mpg like i used to. tbf i haven't been thrashing the new one like i did with the old one so i guess its early days in my mpg game.

Must be good to get away from a chav's wet dream? :nerner:
it was fun in a childish kind of way. boyracers wanted to race it all the time and it killed them all :ROFLMAO:

dont like the alloys! missing the zender kit of your other one...
yeah the zender kit is one sexy mofo

Have you sorted a drive out then jug? Dont want the chavs scratching the Alfa.
no drive, so i cant sleep. i'm gonna hide in the bushes on saturday night with a hammer in my hand. you think i'm joking.

yeah mirrors are on the list but only once i've found a job.

i fitted black side repeaters and my alpine headunit today. the sub and amp go in tomorrow. i've got an induction kit coming soon.

what are specs and mods..... any planned mods????
i'm taking it very easy with mods this time. all i'm doing is induction kit, alpine headunit, JBL sub and amp, black side reapterws, and thats it!! no really i mean it, i'm 28 so i really have to stop chavving my cars now.

£60 + postage is too much for me. i'm gonna get a pair from a scrapyard for £30 at most.

so far all i've done is black side repeaters and alpine headunit and JBL sub&amp, oh and a twin cone induction kit. i've added an original alfa luxury carpet mat set, and used an alfa touch up stick to sort out all the stone chips etc. its a minter now, i'm over the moon. gearknob is in the post and thats it i'm leaving it as it is, not even removing the badges or replacing the speakers! i must be getting old.
